I have my background all done + layers, I opened my render in PS and how do I paste it into my background + layers? My copy layer on right click isn't high lighted...

Is the layer locked ? (look for a padlock icon) try duplicating the layer if that option isn't greyed out and copy from that one.

I did duplicate it. Still cannot copy/paste.

Maybe you should learn to open the render first and then make the background.
Will ultimately result in a better sig.

I am following this http://www.sigtutorials.com/tutorials/basics/basic-grunge.html Am I doing wrong by so?
