if you mean a tut that results in a borderless sig that is considered really good, then you should give up

Borderless sigs will most likely NOT help you improve your abilities as a graphics artist. I do understand however, that not everyone is looking to improve. Some people just want to make borderless sigs to sell or w/e.

Here's some tips:

Use as much "black" as possible.
Steer away from "outer glows" and "drop shadows".
Try to keep the sig a single color bracket, the less hue change, the better. ( Helps to use "Web and Device Colors" checkbox )
C4D use should be kept to a minimum ( they tend to be very large ).

On a side note, Ive made over 100k FG from selling sigs, and like 80k of it was from borderless requests. The request forum put a blindfold over me and I really hadn't improved artistically, at all, until just recently.

Make a sig canvas (400 by 150pixels for example), then when your sig is done, downsize the sig. You should now see grey and white square behind. It's the transparency. If you brush behind your sig layer, onto the grey/white square, it'll do some popout effect.

Save the sig as .png (to keep the transparency).

That's it lol, kinda easy. ^_^
