Hey i keep seeing some common backgrounds used in sigs but i also see some vectored one's to.

I'm curious to learn to how make these vector shapes i've been usin cs5 for about 2 hours no and have figured out how to do a lot of things (shadows/fading/color/etc)

only part im having trouble with is how people make these vectors and how i see liquid parts that look like crystals or just a terrific looking liquefy.

Theres millions of vector brushes out there, just google them and use them

Or you could not take the retarded way out and learn how to use pen tool.

I guarantee there isnt a single brush in the tag ease is wearing, pretty sure it was made by Souforte.

nah im here to learn this and get good at signatures n such. :) i'll stick with brushes and learn that way

The second statement nullifies the first statement.

No one gets good using premade brushes. But if you want to make crappy tags for fg, Ill stop trying to help you see the error of your ways.

im a little lost now. im not doing this for fg btw doing it to learn the program :)

Ok, then you definitely dont want to go the brush route. Basically thats what everyone in the request forum does because they dont know any better (or dont care to know)

Well when it comes to a tag like ease's, yeah pretty much o_o I mean theres more to it than just pen tooling shapes, but thats where tutorials come in. You need to read a lot of tutorials, they help immensely. Youll have to look up some pen tool tuts as well, it can be a bitch.
