kk.
so i have a render, and i want to make a sig
how do i paste the render into the blank 400x150 file without there being a big white/black square behind it.
the way i've been doing it is having a blank file up for the sig

and then going to file-->open---> render/stocks/c4ds and then using the marquee tool to copy paste them into the blank file that will be my sig.

unfortunately the marquee tool also copies the white/black background of the render too >_<

soo what do??

erase as much as possible and then smudge the background onto the render??/
it seems tedious/time consuming =/

if there is any background in your renders then you have them saved as the wrong format or they are not a render to begin with.

when you download a render make sure they are saved as PNG and all you have to do is open it in PS ctrl + a, ctrl + c, ctrl + v
