I need a tutorial on how to make a signature that would say Intellect, but I want to use a picture as the background of the letters like for the picture to only show up in the letters. I can't really explain this very well.


Like say, the image will be a render of just Intellect. And inside of each letter of Intellect, there will be portions of a background picture that only shows up inside of the letters of it.

lmk if anyone understand and can forward me to a nice tutorial.

you want to learn how to use "Clipping masks"

There is a tutorial explaining how to use them. Just, once you've finished making the clipping mask, hide the "background" layer (starting layer) and save as a .png to make all but the letters transparent.
