i downloaded and "zip'ed" some new fonts but i can find the folder for the (.ttf) files.

i already thought about putting the fonts in the WINDOWS folder and they obviously appeared @ photoshop but when i try to write something, photoshop slowing down start lagging and i can see the letters i write.

Where's my mistake?
Or
where can i find the right folder?

usually it should work fine in this folder as far as i know, ive done it hundred times, no problem.
when the quality is low, it is most likely the font you dl'd.

Yeah, usually you just paste them in your blabla:/blabla/WINDOWS/fonts/ directory, and then restart PS.

the quality might also be reflected in the style u chose "none, sharp, crisp, strong, smooth " some work better on different settings and different sizes.

double click the .tff(i believe thats the extension?) and it will bring up a window, click install.....and it's installed, no need to find the folder
