Hopefully it is just some filter or gradient map or something, but I've been fiddling around in photoshop and I can't seem to replicate it myself. Too rusty.

many ways of doing it.

you can usa a gradient map black/yellow or w/e or simply make a layer yellow and ply with screen settings, luminosity, etc...

selective color will work as well.


oops you want the color out try black and white gmap, set to soft light or play with it, really experiment with different things.

might want to try using curves, click "auto" and cross ur fingers
or try going to image - auto tone / contrast / color
or maybe try copying layer, ctrl/u to set to b/w, and lower opacity some
