Alright So I Started Using Gimp About 2 days Ago. And So Far Ive Made 2 Things.

My Second One Im Trying To Get Rid Of The White On The Left Side But Im Having Troubles With That..

So If I Could Get Some Critiscism That Would Be Good :D

not good at all.
first one is maybe duplicated render just blurred and distorted, then maybe you changed the opacity here n there, but other than that you didn't do much.
doesn't look good either.

second one, i have no idea what it is, so i won't even give it a comment.

Read tutorials!
It looks like you've just duplicated and changed a few blending options.
They are way over contrasted and neither of them have any flow.
