Okay so here's the deal. I can save a single image as PNG with a transparent background and it works beautifully. Like my current sig. But when I go to animate, the background does this with the white crap around it...I do NOT know how to fix it.

You cant.. Gif is low quality pictures with max 255 colors.. you can make it more transparent if you set the gif, to 255 colors.. but it will blow the max kb size, and wont be as good as png..

Basicly you have to chose.. Animation vs Transparent background..

GIFs don't have the ability to support gradients and transparencies. Only solid colors.
That's why your shadow has white.
