i hope i can write it correct in english

so i try... when i create a bordless picture like my actually sig.. i must save it as PNG24 that the Border and backround is transparent. Thats no problem but when you put some colors into this picture ... you have fast more then 70kb size.
exist in photoshop cs4 a option to rezise the size of a finished picture like by a jpg?

You can also save it as a GIF or PNG8 with transparent background. But I don't know if that knocks down the quality.

It will be a lot smaller size I guess. But you can't lower down the size at PNG24

Hm but i think it dont work with a transparent background when i save it as gif or png8?!?!
