I've searched and found a few answers, but none of them worked.

What are you working on and what are you trying to do with it?

In photoshop if you delete the background completely you end up with a transparent background which I figure you already now. So this stays true while working in photoshop. Transparency can be read in illustrator (as well as indesign I believe, but not 100% on this) if you import the PSD file, or save the PSD as a tiff file and check the box that says preserve transparency.

But yeah, some more info would help =D

you mean so You just have an outline pic more or less im guessing? and guessing just 0 opacity don't work either?
