I know a lot of basic stuff in photoshop I'm just really curious how you can achieve this effect. (not sure if it belongs in graphic design but I couldn't figure any better place).

don't need tutorials or anything but it would be usefull. or a hint in the right direction.

Good way to make ur self look better if u r fugly...

Doesnt look that hard tho...Prolly be done with some adjusment layers w different blending modes and opacities.. etc... Could take some time tho

It's surely "Level adjustements Layers" , play with the black and white tool settings, and set on the picture 100% white and 100% black color to 95% , it should be better at least
