For signature, profile banners and backgrounds? Which of the following Photoshop Editions is the best for that?

-Adobe Photoshop CS 4 ME
-Adobe Photoshop CS 3 ME
-Adobe Photoshop CS 2 ME
-Adobe Photoshop CS ME
-Adobe Photoshop 7.0.1 ME
-Adobe Photoshop 6.0 ME
-Adobe Photoshop 5.5 ME
-Adobe Photoshop 4.0 ME

I use Photoshop CS3 and love it. Easy to use and has a load of nice features. Have yet to try CS4. CS2 was really easy to use but doesn't have some of the features that CS3 does. All in all it's personal preference I think. But I say CS3 is my favorite for what you're looking to do.

i use cs3 and i love it, i have also tried cs4 and i prefer cs3 over it

I use photoshop cs4 but i reccomend cs3. it's easier and it's pretty fun.
