Need to make the back ground black, whats the best way?
I use cs4

If you mean the white blocks and crap, just put a layer below all of the others and make it black.

i'd take the magic wand tool play with the tolerance and then make a selction once you have selected all take the paint bucket tool with white color and click in the selection
