how can i cut a 64x64 ava from my current sig
i tried to guess it and cut..etc etc..but it was never 64x64 -_-

i did it with gimp..

Ok just checked this out, you should be able to go:

Image>Canvas Size, Then click the little chain symbol and this will stop GIMP constraining the proportions, then key in 65 in both the boxes, click in either the X or Y offset box so that the preview updates then if you then look down there is a small picture of the image you're using and there should be a small box on it, this represents the part that will be you're avatar, click on the image and drag it around to get the part of the image you want inside the little box (Hope you get what i mean there, it's a little hard to explain)

Create a new image and make it 64x64 and then crop out a part of your signature and copy paste it onto the 64 x 64 piece and resize accordingly.
