Just wondering how you guys do it. I have been having to outline the stuff i want out of the black or white backgrounds i find on web sites. there has to be a easier way than how i am doing it. Sry i didnt find a tut with something this basic =/

Go to planetrenders.net and use those, make sure you save as a .png.

alrighty ty for the help.
Now...im having this problem with my c4ds. When i d/l a c4d pack and unzip them I get alot of c4ds but with white or black backgrounds.
I have them saved in tif and png and both are the doing the same thing. Also when i open them in PS the back ground is locked I read somewhere that you needed to open them and click hide layer on background but that is not my case.

go to youtube and watch a pen tool tutorial this is used to cut stocks to make renders xD

i use the polygonal lasso tool zoomed in 1200% or closer depending on render detail

if your rendering stock i prefer the pen tool just cut out the image and then you can resize it the way you want

If you want to render your own stuff use the pen tool..

btw Imo its easier to make signatures using stocks.. better outcome imo
