EXAMPLE:

I DONT WISH TO SIMPLY COPY!
I would however like to incorporate the lion in my current sig with the background (orange paint and red skull) in the example.

And ofc make it my name.
Was this made from a font? Or drawn out?

How can I start this project? I have very little experience making sigs, so dumb it down, please!

Thanks all.

Okay heres how I would do it..

First off pick a font.. Then spell whatever text you want...
Transform it however you want it..

If you use photoshop then press CTRL + ALT + Use the arrowkeys to move the text in whatever way you want the 3d effect going.. Do this around 30+ times..
Unhide the top layer and then select the rest and merge them together. Rasterize them. Then use a simple clipping mask to add whatever picture you want. Remember to change the background color to eg orange as shown..
Now as soon in your example use the pentool to create the "highlighted" stripes.

Unhide the top layer and pick whatever color you like.. Merg all the layers and go to edit > stroke and add whatever border around the image that you like
