my text wont move it just keeps typing on top of each letter every time i type im using photoshop cs4 anyone know how to fix this?

If u try moving tool and move text away, and use text tool on diffrent spot, what happens then? Or when u double click on text layer, it should light ur current text with box, where ur able to move, and rotate it
