ive been messing around in photo shop and i made myself this sig + avy,

1. how do i condense a .png file to a smaller .png file without losing the layer properties (masking) or resizing the actual image

2. what are the actual image restrictions?

im fairly sure it's 75kb, just not posative on the pixel depthXwidth

400 px by 150px (hxW)

70kb for signatures
50kb for avatars.

if you can't save at png 24, save at png 8, or save as a gif.

ty the .gif worked like a charm

i really didnt want to try every format listed through trail and error,t here's so many

i think im well within the guidlines now, plenty of room for more graphic effects when i take the time to learn more
