Question About Riping - Topic

Ok, i followed a tutorial on how to make a sig, and i was wondering if i use this sig
as my own would it be like riping, the avatar is different, but the texture is the same.

Following a tutorial does not constitute ripping.
You should eventually aim to follow tutorials loosely, when at all so that your stuff represents your own style, but it's not ripping.

looks good to me! well done.
as long as you arent copy+pasting and using the exact same image, you should be fine.
when you start taking their finished product and putting your name on it.. thats ripping.
