I just started Gfx again.. its been like 1 year and a half... and i click thwe text button, click on my picture,. start typing and nothing shows uop

make sure you make a text box in your picture.

also see if your font is too big for what your picture shows...

also your text layer might be below something that is covering it up.

Check the layer order,
it might be hidden under the other layers
