i'm having trouble with a simple animation
i save it as gif in the proper way following several ps tuts
how will i upload it to display as an animation?

What do the tutorials say?

File > Save for web and devices>GIF + settings?

GIF, 128 colours, 74% dither and basically the default

Hmm. Did you check how many times it is supposed to play? You should choose "Forever". You know what? Just drop a screen of the saving box, and eventually your animation dialog box, so it`ll be easier to identify the problem
