Well obviously this is no news to most of you. However these questions have been raised more than once
and it's nice to have a place to link to instead of explaining everything all over again.
The purpose is to help those who've been asking me how to put on their sig after you've made one for them.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay so once someone (Even you) has made a sig for you, it's time to attach it to your profile so that every time you post, it shows up.
Here's how to do it.
A: Obtaining the link to your new sig's image.
For the example we'll use this picture of an old sig i made (By the way, it's for trade if anyone's interested).
Right click the image and select "Properties", in the window that opens copy the text under Adress(URL).
The copied link in this case would be:
http://i40.tinypic.com/16k2par.jpg
Step 2 will be in a new reply to my post because of the "3 image per post" limit...

B: Placing this link in your profile.
1. On the top toolbar of the JSP website click on your name to get to your profile:
2. On the "Signature" section, click the little pencil next to it
(Note: the signature section is at the bottom of the profile for me but it can vary and will usually be at the top)
After this is done, an input box will be opened where you need to enter the text/code for your signature.
Now you can either paste your link and hit the "image code" button on the top of the input box:
(Note: make sure your image code is SELECTED before you press this button, the end result should be the link and an '' tag on the right.
The end result should be:
""
Add lines of text under or over the image (up to 3) and click Edit Signature. And you're DONE!
(Avatar will be in 3rd post, again with the 3 images per post)

C: Changing Avatar.
1. Follow Step A to obtain the link to the avatar's image.
2. On the top toolbar of the JSP website click on "Settings", then on the left click "Change Avatar".
3. Paste the link to the avatar in the box, this time no need for '[IMG]' tags.
4. Click Change Avatar and you're done!

I know how to do all this but to those who don't:
You can use photobucket and other websites to store your signatures/avatars and get the Direct Link.
