yeah so I recently started with photoshop. I'm having a couple of questions, and please dear users don't throw thousands of photoshop speech in my face :P

1
I've made a simple background (clouds) and would like a picture of terminator applied.
Picture/border ~ http://www.ucandaire.org/imaj/Radyocu/terminator-4.jpg
Problem is, when I open this how do I cut this to the so-called render? Will I use the wand or what?

2
How can I add several colours (example, black in the middle & orange to the sides) & make it look sort of like molten together? you know, they go into together etc. which tool will I use? I'll try to add an example if this ain't discripted properly.

Maybe i'll add more questions :P

There are several ways to do this.

The pen tool, polygonal lasso tool, magic eraser and magic wand(depending if the background is one color), the extract tool, and many others. I suggest you learn how to use the pen tool as it is best choice of them all. You can find tutorials by searching google for them.

#2: explain to me via pm.
