So i have photoshop elements 5.0 from my school provided laptop that i have had for almost 2 years now

so i can get the backround image fine, but when i want to make the second photo a layer i can't. It gives me this layer toolbar or something with like already styled layers.... How can i put another image in as a layer

instead of that, just open up both of them regularly, then drag the animal onto the canvas of the fruit.

maybe ur problem is photoshop elements
it doesnt have all the function the "real" photoshop has
