Hello everybody.
This a tutorial made by me for beginners, every step is explained.
I'm using Adobe Photoshop.

PREVIEW

Lets start:
1. Get a picture of a car. I used this one:

2.Open it in Photoshop

3.Create a new layer ( Ctrl + Shift + N )

4.Set the mode of the new layer to "Hue":

5. Zoom to like 300-400% ( depends on the size of your base picture )

6. Get a brush ( B ) with a size of ~40-60 and pick a color you like ( I used red ).

7. Now start brushing the car on the new layer which has the mode 'Hue'. Pay attention so you dont color too much of the background. You can also change the size of the brush for the edges.

8. If you colored everything you want to be colored, fade out the base car layer ( click on the eye ). You should now see something like this:

A lot of it is still pretty transparent, color this so nothing is transparent anymore. If you're done, enable the base layer with the car again ( click on the eye, again).

9. Now zoom to the edges between the car and the background.

As you can see, I painted the background by mistake. Hey - that's no problem at all. Just get a pretty small eraser tool ( E ) with a size of like ~10-15 and erase all the color on the background.

10. Wow! You've done it ! That's it! Enjoy your fresh colored car.
