I'm using cs4 , doing a shine text , when i use the poly tool , then the gradient tool , then i click to *load selection* comes up with abox with options >< i clicked all the options and it wont load it. so i cant get past the step of the gradient.

What should I do?

hold shift and click on your text layer then you have your selection

That did not work sad.gif it only highlighted both layers.
