How do I make the move around the letters?

back and forth, my friend did it somehow and I'd like to know how as well.
I've only had photoshop for 3 days.
They're 2 different layers as you can see, how can I make it move?



I'm putting that 1/2 ring above the text layer so it goes infront

i also have a question , how can i put 2 different images in there,
i can only put one

and a better explanation... you want to to wrap around the text right
