im trying to learn how to make animations

a friend recommended the program gimp and i have it loaded


im paying 40 fg for a simple talkthrough on how to create an animated pic

to bad, if it was photoshop i would probably able to help you out. i don't know anything how gimp works.

well, refer me to a program that would be good for making animations??

Just make layers with the things you want as frames. Then in the name, insert (xxx ms) for how many milliseconds you want the frame to play for.
Then just save as a .gif file and voila.
