I've never made a sig, looked through tutorials, and was all confusing, i need to know couple things

VOCAB

like stock
and render

What program to use, and where to get it.
A beginer tutorial thats easy to understand (like 500 on that page, idk which to use)

If anyone is a mentor out there, who wants to help me out, and teach me 1on1 im willing to pay a lil

Stock is a picture that you work with for your image, i guess stock could also refer to texture but i dunno.

Render, render is a particular part of a picture like an anime character and is cut out.
this is as best I can describe.

many use Photoshop and its not free, less know yoda. and its about 300$ with a student discount.

You can lookup and download Gimp, its a fre program that is much like photoshop.
