Alright, so I sort of understand what a focal point in a regular drawing is (a point where all of the lines seem to proceed), but that in itself seems impossibly difficult to do, so how would I use a focal point in my signatures? I only ask because I recently got advise on my current signature to move my focal point "to the third-line" from the center, which I didn't really understand. Any clarification is appreciated, perhaps comparing a signature with really bad focals to one with good ones would help me.

Thanks,

OK so the focal is where the attention is draw and indicates what kinda of flow there is going to be. When placing the focal point follow the rule of thirds.

Rule of thirds:

Focal should never be in the middle.

So I would be using focals more effectively if I moved my render and the c4d render to the right a little bit as long as they are on these imaginary lines?

All u have to do is make sure that stuff is meaningfully placed in your sig. For example, the white pentooling in my current is around the guy, not off in a corner or something.
And yah, don't put your focal in the dead center.

I got a very clarifying message from Napkin, so I think I have it under control. Thanks for the posts / link.
