Anyways, I've been interested in trying to start using photoshop for fun and to make what ever I need on d2jsp or anything else. So I finally got CS4 extended and some other adobe programs (including illustrator & Flash), and I'm wondering what the most productive way to start is. I've looked at a few of the tutorials but I've literally just starting using photoshop and am not sure whether I should be watching the incredibly boring and meticulous beginner tutorials I've found on other sites or the ones making signatures here on d2jsp. Is it something that can be easily learned while practicing?

It would be nice if some users could give me some input to make my progress as efficient as possible.

takes practice and patience. best way to practice is by reading tutorials not watching them. most video tutorials aren't good~

Alright. It's just sort of annoying because the only tutorial I completely understand is BobiusMaximus's creating a black border. I guess I'll just play around a bit and see if that helps at all. Thanks for the response.
