There are multiple ways to lower the size in there. You can reduce the number of colors used or you can mess with the dither.
you can make the file a gif/jpeg/png.. usually gif or jpeg are the lowest file sizes
exactly.. if you want to save it it will ask you for quality... and so on...a lot of ways
