Where do you get different fonts? And how do you get them on photoshop?

You can download fonts at dafont.com

Put the font into your fonts folder in the control panel.

The other way to find the folder is to right click on start, then click on explore, then find your main hard drive and open it, then open the folder WINDOWS, then open Fonts and place them in there.

If your running Mac just download the font to your desktop, double click it and click install.

but when your downloading it how do you get to control panel i can't get to it?

First you download the font, extract it to your desktop.

!: Now you have the font file on your desktop.

Second, open control panel and open the fonts folder wich is in the control panel.

!: Now you have the font on desktop and the right folder open.

Third, drag your font into your folder and it should be done.

Remember that new fonts, brushes and other things you personally add won't show up in the program until you restart it.

fonts will, you don't have to restart with fonts.

some good site for fonts are 1001fonts.com or urbanfonts.com .. a good brush website is brusheezy.com .

to install a brush to photoshop - first you need to dl it
- second go to My Computor/Program files/Adobe/
-than youll go into your photoshop folder , whichever version you have ie.. photoshop cs3
- From there youll see a folder called presets go into it.
-In that folder youll see brushs, patterns etc. ofc place all ABR files ( brush files) that youve dled into this folder.

As stated above youll have to restart photoshop for these new brushs to take effect
