i have an avi file type of my friend and i wanta convert it to a .gif is there any way to do this
maybe iam wrong i dont know much abt sig/avatar/photoshop/or the diff file types maybe its not possible

Well with DvdVideoSoft i can do it, but I can't seem to find a link that contain all the program...

Look for "DvdVideoSoft" on google, there's lots of program related to what you want.

If you have adobe cs3 you can simply go to : file - import - video to layers and then select your movie

dono what cs3 is but i asume its a video/photo editing software but i dont have it thanks tho
