I want to know how to add text to a gif thats already made...i wanna add text about half way through and i want it to last for about 1/3 of the frames...it is 257 frames so add it around 130 lasting for 85 frames...i add text and it only lasts for a frame...it would take forever to add text to each frame individually...i used one as an example and the text is added at the right frame then each frame after that has part of the image removed so that the original text shows through but how does that work as the original text is on a frame that has already passed.

Any help would be appreciated

I do not believe it is possible in GIMP. I could be wrong though so you probably will want another source.

what program do you recommend...money is not a real problem been looking for a good gif editor
