I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of any good graphics software to make signatures/avatars/misc. Paint is just not cutting it that well anymore. Any help is appreciated. Preferably free software.

The best is definitely Photoshop CS2 or CS3. Any photoshop will work though. If you are looking for a free graphics editor, try GIMP. You can download it at http://www.gimp.org/downloads/. It is a whole lot better than Microsoft Paint but produces lower quality images than Photoshop. In any case, give it a try.
