I know what the smudge (german:verschmieren) tool is but
i never got somthing like other ppl get ._.

could someone tell me how i have to use it right ?:s

Could you please post an example of the effect you're looking for?

i did this but now im confused, some people say that its for blend the picture to the background...
others say its for makeing the background

and i realy dont know how to use it right...

It looks fine to me, really o.O Smudge is good for adding those sort of ethereal effects like auras and big swooshes of light

Just make sure to play with stuff like strength and opacity to get the desired effect

Thats not bad at all, but it looks incomplete. Try doing this:

New Layer -> Paint Bucket -> Black -> Opacity 50%, Overlay (Or any blend mode which you like)

See that circle under his arm? Do this:

New Layer -> Eliptical Marquee Tool (Circle tool) and draw a nice sized circle under his arm. -> Paint Bucket Tool (I'd do white), then go to Filter -> Blur -> Motion Blur and play with the settings until it is blended evenly. Set it on Soft Light or any blend mode you feel apropiate.

This will make you a step closer to finnishing I think.
