I downloaded a c4d package but cannot open them. What program, or what do I need to be able to do to use the c4d I have downloaded. I am currently using Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended but when I open the program with that it says it isn't possible or what ever just an error. Anyone know what my problem is ?

Downloaded them from there / they are from deviant art. It then doesn't know what program to open them with so I have to choose and I selected photoshop. How can I tell file extension or is that it smile.gif ?

Edit : When I open it with photoshop the error reads, " Could not complete your request it is not the right type of document. "

I downloaded the 1st pack and could open the files without any problems. They're .tifs.

Easiest way to solve your problem would probably be for me to download and convert all of them into another file-type.

Wouldn't really solve that problem though, because you'd have to ask me everytime you ty to open .tifs. blink.gif

No idea what's wrong here. :/

You don't know of any way I could go about solving this problem ?

Edit : Perhaps you have a program that I do not ?

I use Photoshop CS1.

I'm on a mac though, so I don't really know much about windows and its problems.
I can open them with any graphic-program I own, so it's definitely not your photoshop that causes the problem.

Just wait for someone who had the same problem I guess.

How do I save them as .tifs

I have done this with other images but I can't even open them on my photoshop so I cannot save them as tif. I go to open the file with pscs3 extended and it says

" Could not complete your request it is not the right type of document. "

they are Rar Files

WHen u want to open them
downlaod

Win rar program
or 7zip works fine too

after opening them
Drag the files outside

when u want to load them into ur PS

just drag the icon into ur PS
or for PNG files use the open command or import
b/c u will lose transparent pix by drag droping from internet or other soucrs
