When I use the smudge tool and try to use shape dynamics ( e.g. scattering ) it doesnt work ? I mean, I cant even activate the scatter-effect sad.gif ( button is grey )

Anyone HALP ?

Could you possibly post a screenshot.

Also, What version of Photoshop are you using?
