I became really bored...

I suck at PHotoshop and never learned how to use it. So i took some images and used paint and made sigs out of them.

I added no brushes, I added nothing of my own, just basically cut the part of the image I wanted, resized it, and added a border.

My question is, are these types of sigs good to use on here? Or will I get in trouble for "ripping" even though I'm not selling them to people.

You can get in trouble for ripping without selling, just in a different form (taking someones signature and claiming it your own, or even just wearing it).
I don't see why someone would call you a ripper for your sig for what you're doing.

Yeah I know taking from other people is considered ripping, I'm just googling images and scaling them down.

I just don't want to pay 100-500fg for signatures to look cool, sigs don't really tickle my fancy if you know what I mean.

If he didn't learn how to use photoshop (way > GIMP) why would he get gimp.
