ya but im having trouble figuring it out =\ im not well versed in imageready, i usually just use photoshop. if theres another way besides image ready i'd appreciate it

I can't say there is but I have a really good easy tut, if I can find it after work I will post the link to it for you, but like you said you don't like imageready so I'm not sure it will help.
