So i want to make a popout sig of a sniper with the rifle sticking out of the bottom, do i make the background transparent or what? i can't seem to find any tuts on this...

save as .png and mark background none

make your background, then make the canvas size larger and leave the bottom of it transparent, add in your render and save as a .PNG file, this will keep the bottom of it transparent and make it "pop out"
