I purchased photoshop elements 2 a while ago
I was wondering if there was a way to attain a more updated version for free

Download Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended 30 Day Trial. Then you can legally go buy it at staples for 600 dollars. Thats the only legal way.
If you want it free dl trial then dl crack or keygen. Not legal.

there isnt a way to get like the full verson of photoshop 5 for free?

Photoshop 5 isn't very good, I'd suggest getting one of the trials at www.adobe.com and check out the latest versions, They're much better, easier to use and MUCH more usefull.
