I tried dowloading a font on dafont.com and i zipped it into a brushes folder that i created in my PS folder and it didnt work, and help on that lol?

download it to desktop<extract<drag into folder.

So when i want to choose the font i just go to open > fonts > select font i want ?

the font on the desktop..

you drag it into the folder called fonts, wich you can find in the control panel.
now open photoshop and follow this:
