I just got photoshop and I wanted to add sports figures to my sig. I cut the players out of the picture but they look more 2 d then 3d. Anyone got any advice on making the render of someone looking more 3d.

If you compare this image to whats in my sig you can see that mine looks kinda flat.

I'm not sure what you mean by making it more 3D, the only way you can make it more smooth like that is by taking more time to cut it out and make it better .

I did it fast so It was not exact. I thought you could do somethng along the edges of the person to make it look more 3d

Well you can select the cut-out and then do refine edges, play around with the options and it can make the edges look a little like that, I think.
Apart from that, I don't think there is any way , sorry.
