currently using cs2, can someone tell me how to get the dots under the font?my guess is thats its a brush but im not quite sure

I guess it's a simple dot. With brush effects.

So, basically, put a dot. Then edit the brush settings so it'll make a "dot line"

I don'T have photoshop on this computer. I can't remind wich settings will do the effect.

Seems like 2-3px soft brush, go to brush settings on right, there put spacing and check how it changes. When you have set that to your liking, make a straight line with pen tool, right click the path and choose stroke path, with brush and voila, you are set. PM me if I missed something.
