I need help.. I think I know what renders do.. Not exactly sure tho. Wtf are stocks? And anything elseI shoulod know about? ( newb sig maker!)

stock is a picture where is for example a guy from halo,but it doesnt have transparent background like renders do. it has its own background,which you can cut off or keep
