I want to make some abstract sigs. I dont know how to explain what im looking for, but im looking for some tuts or just some sigs (i dont rip, i learn alot from looking). I want to use clipping masks, brushes and wireframes. I dont exactly know how to incorporate all of them together... I really dont know how else to describe it. But any help you could provide me with such resources i would appreciate it. If you have questions on what im talking about, ill check this frequently.

Oh, and if you help me find the stuff im looking for, ill make some sigs of this style and hit you up with one smile.gif

Thanks alot-

Clipping masks:
Make a new layer and make a shape (can be anything). Then make that layer invisible, and make a new layer. Apply image on that layer (ctrl + shift + alt + e, or image > apply image) and then make that a clipping mask (ctrl + alt + g, or layer > create clipping mask).
Then move the top layer around until you find a nice outcome and tadaa smile.gif.

Brushes:
http://www.deviantart.com/
Type in the type of brush you want (e.g. Splatter brushes, grunge brushes, cloud brushes, vector brushes, etc. etc.) and download them, then find the brushes folder. It will be something like this: C:/program files/Adobe/presets/brushes
Then drag the brushes into there and relaunch photoshop. Then go into the brush tool and right-click on the canvas to bring up a window. In the top right of the window there will be a little arrow - click that and it will bring up a drop-down menu. Select the brush pack you downloaded from the list, and then brush away smile.gif.

Wireframes:
Type "Download wireframe c4ds" into Google, and then find some nice ones. Download them, and then ctrl + o (open) them in photoshop. It will open into a new document. Go into the move tool (v) and drag the layer into your other document, then set that layer to whichever one of these looks best: Lighten/Screen/Darken/Multiply

Thanks for all the help. Like i said, i dont know how to explain it, but i want to combine all those elements (i know how to use them somewhat effectively, even though i dont use downloaded brushes). I dont know what sort of organization i should put into the sig, or much about how the wireframe affects flow... Maybe i just suck at explaining, actually, i know i do..

Don't worry smile.gif I think I understand what you mean.
And that takes practice. It's very very hard for someone to just explain to you how to do it; it's something you must learn, from watching other people do graphics, reading tutorials, and practicing. smile.gif
