there are many ways to do this

if u use a pc hihglight the font type layer wit ctrl whihc selects the type
then just make it into a pixel by using the grandit tool

or

go to stylelize
and color over lay
pick grandient

or

create new layer and do a grandit on it
and put that as a cliping mask to the type layer below it

or

u can just maunally pick the color for each word
